A destination wedding can be both the easiest and most difficult way to have a wedding, what is rest assured is that it will be an amazing and unforgettable experience for your, your family and friends.   It’s easy because you and your guests get to travel abroad and celebrate while on vacation. Travelling to photograph a destination wedding is exciting for any photographer and travel is something that Matt owner and principle photographer of Hush Studios of enjoys immensely, undertaking several destination weddings and foreign assignments each year.

Arriving in a new country, Matt always sees everything with fresh eyes and this provides exciting opportunities to create some stunning and unique wedding photographs.  

Matt's first destination wedding was some years ago in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.  An exciting destination at the best of time - imagine a glitzy, fun and colourful wedding on the Las Vegas strip!  The enquiry and wedding booking came by chance and was an age prior to the digital world we now live in.   This was then met with wedding photography bookings in Malta and Gozo whilst Matt was still based in London.  Now based in the heart of the Mediterranean, Matt enjoys photographing weddings all year ‘round  all over the world.

Applying his fun, relaxed and stress-free approach to weddings in Malta and throughout the Mediterranean got Matt and Hush Studios noticed a little further afield and our destination wedding photography service is available worldwide.

Matt’s approach to destination weddings is all about naturally adapting to the personalities and expectations of our couples and considering the cultural and social factors to the celebration of the wedding day itself.  In fact, when we wax lyrical in our offices of weddings past and present, we are astounded by the range of people we have met from all corners of the earth and all walks of life.  As a team we can never agree on what our most exciting assignment has been, but what we do agree on, is that we are in a position of privilege to share in the once in a lifetime moments of a marriage and other important life events all around the world.

4) You like the work, now you like the quote, so you book us

5) Once the booking is made we’ll go through all the timings and details of the day.

6) Matt will arrive at least one day before the wedding, scout locations, do venue visits and get familiar with the surroundings.

7) Your wedding day is celebrated and preserved for all of time with great images

8) Hush Studios supply you with individually edited, high resolution digital images
